My dear friend and mentor Meinrad Craighead once told me that if you can sew, you can build! I have created a few quilts using batiks that I designed, including this recent baby quilt.
My bookmaking is mostly reserved for personal sketchbooks/journals, but I occasionally create something truly bizarre, like my Groundswell project.

I was commissioned to create the 2008 Bravos Awards, honoring individuals and organizations for excellence in the Albuquerque arts community. The edition of nine books featured my “open spine” binding technique and tiny salt rocks on the book covers.
